I FOUND THE TRUTH

I am Alida. I’m from Gjakova, a small city, in a small country maybe unknown for you. I am 17 years old and I go to high school, which is very hard. I want to study in U.S.A. I don’t know yet what exactly, but I’m waiting God to tell me what is the best for me. I know to speak and write English , I’m ok with English, so I hope you will understand me. The English language I learned at one course where I started to go just for fun, but one day after English classes, they, I mean my friends and my teacher started to make a circle. They started to express there feelings, problems, and things that made them be worried, and I was just listening then, and the teacher was helping them giving them advices, and encourage them how to be in front with the problems, how to respect parents and the other things. He was telling them that they can do everything having faith because the faith in Lord Jesus helps us to get everything, if those things are good for us, sure. So, after some weeks I started to go on the Sunday meetings, were other people and they were and the were very friendly and there I saw a clear love of brothers, there weren’t any bad things, bad words or something like this, no, there was a lot of peace. And this was and is the CHURCH. The Pastor, who was my English teacher started to preach, that is what he do every Sunday, he tells us things that Jesus did for us. In the beginning it was very boring but I was keeping in my mind some of those words. And, I started to practice some of them for example: not lying. I practiced some days and it was great.

The day came, after one year and I accepted Jesus in my heart, Lord of my heart and my life too, because I understood that He is the only God and the key of eternal life.

Let me say before I didn’t have a lot of patient, I was talking always even that now I talk again very much but before I was talking foolishly, I was very jealous, now I’m just a little bit but I’ll fight it, now I have more respect for everyone exactly for my parents that is obligated, now I don’t lie, I don’t speak bad words and I have change very much. I just have to say you adults peers that Jesus can change your life like He did with my life, because trust me my life was very boring but now it’s very COOL, you know, I do a lot of things right.

It’s a big family of Jesus around the world and when some of them came to visit us, a lot of different peoples and all of them are believers, we stay together, worship God together, we have dinner, make jokes, play together, we do all the things together and we are always happy and smiling, I stop for a minute and I think: It’s very good when we are together and very happy, the sin is to far from us because Jesus, the Holy Spirit is in us and around us, is everywhere.

So guys, I just want to tell you that is your choice:1.if you want to have a boring life with problems and bad things around or 2.a happy life with the most beautiful things that can happen in your life.

If you allow Jesus to come to your life and change your life and your heart He has the power to change you and He will do it for you if you ask Him

Power of the Secret of the Truth of Jesus Christ

It’s not possible” I said to my friend. ”My brother would never go there!”

My friend had just told me that my 12 years-old brother, Enver, was attending an evangelical Christian church. Our family followed a different religion. I was 18, I decided to stop Enver from attending the church, and several times I beat him to make him stop attending.Many people in our city of Gjakova knew me. I was the main troublemaker in my secondary. I wanted people to respect me, to be afraid of me and I had friends who supported me on that.One when Enver was coming home from the church. I grabbed him by the shoulder.“Where you have been?” I asked .“In the church” He replied.Why are you going there “I asked” Didn’t I tell you you stop?Enver said to me,” Do you want to beat me? Here I am –beat me.” Then He looked me in the eye and said “I love you Skender” and “God loves you” It was as if the sword had pierced my heart. “What is this I thought. “How does He have power to say, I love you, when I am beating him?”I decided to go and see for myself what was happening in that church. I went alone, at evening time when it became dark, so that now one in the streets would see me. I planned to speak with the (leader of the church so called by people Pastor) and present my arguments against Christianity, and we would see which one of us knew the truth: He or I.I went to the church, and there was a group of the young people sitting and listening and that Pastor was saying the Jesus is the Way only way to God. He finished and I was very angry as I went to speak with him.OK, Skender,”he said “I know you. Come, sit.I said, “I don’t know you; How do you know my name?”The whole town knows you.”And we began to talk to talk. I asked many questions, and He gave me clear answers .But he did not convince me of the truth of Christianity.“OK, “I said, “I will leave. And my brother will not come here anymore. Don’t let him come here. Don’t invite him to come.He said my I please ask you something?” Yes, I said. “May I give you a New Testament?”

Although I did not know what is New Testament I thought it’s the book that He teaches from and it’s and this is good chance to tell him with facts that He is wrong.I took it, and at home I began to read it. During the next three weeks, I read it three times. Each evening after school I would come and home and read, read, read. I was reading it to find mistakes. I went back to the church again for three weeks continually I did not accept Christ because I wanted to make sure that those people there they also live what that believe and I thought in myself if they live it that would be very righteous life and I would like to join them and see how I can become like one of them.Next meeting after three weeks of continues going in that (pastor preached on salvation and I went forward and accepted Christ, as my Savior and Lord.After meeting Enver said to me,” You know that I found the truth, now you know the truth.That day after meeting I went home, and my friends came by in the car and called to me.I went to the door and they said, Skender! We will have some fun tonight. We have some great girls!“No,” I said.” Guys, I can’t do it. “God doesn’t like what we are doing.”Have you been in that Christian church? They asked.

“Yes,” I said and the Christians have the truth. And now I have the truth.”All my friends left me, and at one point my father threw Enver and me out of the house. It was hard for me at the first, but I read in the Bible, Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal live.That encouraged me. I thought, Yes, I will have a big family one day.And that has happened- now I have a big family in Christ, My father has become a Christian, and many of those friends who left me also have accepted Christ.Three months after my conversion God opened the door for me to go in Bible school. When I finished Bible school I begin working full time in the church.

I became the assistant pastor in the evangelical church and later I was lead by God to go more out and do evangelism and share the love of God and Word of the Lord with the people where Samaritans Purse International organization lead by Franklin Graham came alongside to help and we have reached to share the gospel with thousands from the people in Kosova towns and villages and as a result they was planted several small churches in different places, when we have closed the project I continued work with the church.Your life can be tranformed and changed by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ if you allow him.Talked to God right now say to him these simple words:

Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and I repent of my sin please come into my heart and change my life, lord i don’t want to be religious but I want to have real relatioship with you. Amin
