Are you hungry

Dear friends

I have been thinking from Monday of this week though reading in other places my mind would come back in same place in book of Mathew and answer of Jesus about the commandment of the law.

Let’s read it together.

36Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Mathew 22:36:40

I really love the respectful way of approach that this man did to Jesus He starts calling him, Master, though the man was lawyer and He knew the Mosaic law, He approached Jesus with higher title than He had from himself in modern time now we would call him, Dr. Jesus, word in the Bible used for Master is didaskalos” which means: an instructor (generally or specifically): – doctor, master, teacher.

And the way how Jesus responded to him it was completely opposite of what He thought He would get the response, because his mindset was I respect God, I respect His law, and I try to practice, the law, and what do you think I should do more there is nothing that I can do more.

I can imagine Jesus hearing his mind, like He would do time after time, and saying oh yes you can do much better. And He gave him a response:

In simple short sentences: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

In other words Jesus said, God’s law will not change you, no matter how much you know it and keep it, you can’t be delivered from slavery of sin, no matter you know how bad you are, and how much your nature is corrupted, law is good because by it you will know the sin, but law will not deliver you or keep you away from sin, there is a person that can deliver you from sin, and set you free.

To be free you have to love the Freedom Giver, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, first thing is love, love and hunger and thirst for God will bring you near to God, if you don’t have love and hunger and thirst start praying and asking God to touch your life with His love, and make you hungry and thirsty for Him, and after you start eating the Bread of Life (Jesus), and feeding your soul, then drinking from the River of Life(Jesus), He will set you free, and whom the Son will set free, will be free indeed. Master Jesus, the Freedom Giver who is a owner of our life, wants to set us free of this World though we live in this World. He want’s to baptize you with Holy Spirit and fire, and fill you with power and joy, that is unexplainable for your mindset and reasoning. To have this power and joy you have to love him with all the mind, and heart and soul.

And I know that this hunger and thirst is there and I know you have it, and you can have it right now, find a place alone, GO in that place and ask him to fill you and baptize you, with fire, so you will burn for Him, and I ask the Lord that everybody that read’s this message would start to burn for Him.

Would love to hear from you
